Services we provide
Water delivery options include fills by the meter and/or 6.8 and 13.8 meter drops.
All of our water trucks are fit with digital meter readouts to ensure you receive the amount of water you ordered and are charged for. A minimum charge of 6.8 meters is required for all water deliveries.
We offer scheduled deliveries so you can expect your water on a schedule that works for your home.
Water can also be ordered as needed. We respectfully ask that our customers call 24 hours in advance to ensure the timely delivery of their water.
We fill hot tubs, swimming pools, ponds and water features, as well as outdoor rinks. Our rates are determined by the mileage from the water towers.
We are proud to now offer payments through PayPal and etransfer. Simply scroll down for our PayPal link. We continue to accept cash and cheque to meet all customer payment preferences.

Greg Hamilton has over 30 years experience in the transportation business. He and his wife, Kirsten, acquired The Waterman in 2020. Kirsten grew up with The Waterman and his family, and both the Hughes and Hamilton families were delighted with the opportunity to transition the business to another family with strong roots in the community.

Over the past 30 years, Doug and Susan Hughes have operated The Waterman. After many great years servicing the community, the Hughes have decided to retire.
With that, the business is being transitioned to another Strathcona County family, Greg and Kirsten Hamilton. Greg has spent 29 years working in the transportation industry hauling liquefied dangerous goods throughout Alberta, and is looking forward to working locally with many families he knows. Kirsten grew up in the County and spent many hours with the original Waterman, Doug, and his family. The Hamilton’s are excited to continue working in the community and ensuring your households continue to receive the water you need, when you need it.
We’d like to take the opportunity to thank Doug and Susan for their hard work and dedication in building The Waterman into the successful, customer-driven business that it is today.
Over the next few months, the operations of The Waterman will transition; Doug will be working closely with Greg to ensure it’s a smooth road for all. You can expect a knock on your door from Greg, for a social distance hello.
